5. The Miracles of Jesus

Bible Verse: “With God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26, WEB
What This Means: Jesus performed many miracles during His time on earth, showing us the power and love of God. These miracles were extraordinary events, such as healing the sick, giving sight to the blind, calming storms, feeding thousands of people with just a small amount of food, and even raising the dead. Each of these miracles was a sign that Jesus was not just an ordinary man – He is the Son of God, with power and authority over all things. Jesus’ miracles also teach us important truths about God’s heart. They show us that God is compassionate and cares deeply about our needs, whether they are big or small. For example, when Jesus fed the hungry crowd or healed people who were suffering, He demonstrated His love for all people and His willingness to meet their physical and spiritual needs. His miracles also remind us that God is in control, even when life feels overwhelming. When we read about the miracles of Jesus, we are reminded that God is still powerful today. Nothing is impossible for Him. We can bring our worries, struggles, and problems to Him, knowing that He is able to help us. His miracles give us hope and show us that He is always near, ready to work in our lives in amazing ways. Creative Activity: Write down a situation in your life where you need God’s help. Then, draw a picture of what it might look like when God works in that situation. How does it feel to trust in God’s power and know that nothing is impossible for Him?Listen to This Teaching
6. The Sacrifice of Jesus

Bible Verse: “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13, WEB
What This Means: Jesus showed the greatest love by willingly giving His life for us. Because of sin, we were separated from God, but Jesus took our place. He suffered and died on the cross to pay for our sins so that we could be forgiven and have a restored relationship with God. His sacrifice was not forced – He chose to do it because of His deep love for us.
Through His death, Jesus made a way for us to receive God’s grace and eternal life. But the story doesn’t end there – on the third day, He rose from the dead, defeating sin and death forever. Because of what Jesus did, we no longer have to be afraid of being separated from God. When we believe in Him and accept His sacrifice, we become children of God and receive the promise of eternal life with Him. Jesus’ sacrifice is the greatest act of love the world has ever known. When we understand what He did for us, our hearts are filled with gratitude. His love changes our lives, giving us hope, peace, and a future with Him.Creative Activity: Write a thank-you note to Jesus for His sacrifice. Tell Him what His love and forgiveness mean to you. Decorate your note with hearts or a cross as a reminder of His great love.

7. The Resurrection of Jesus

Bible Verse: “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies.’” John 11:25, WEB
What This Means: Jesus’ resurrection is the greatest proof of His power over sin and death. After dying on the cross, He was buried, but on the third day, He rose again! This shows that death could not hold Him, and because He lives, we can have eternal life with Him. His resurrection is a promise that all who believe in Him will one day be raised to live forever with God. When Jesus rose from the dead, He showed us that nothing is impossible for God. His victory means that sin and death no longer have the final say in our lives. Because of Him, we have hope, joy, and a future that goes beyond this life. No matter what challenges we face, we can trust that Jesus has already won the victory. His resurrection gives us the confidence that we are never alone and that His love will carry us through every difficulty. Creative Activity: Draw a sunrise to represent new beginnings. As you color it, think about how Jesus gives you hope. Write one way He has brought hope into your life.Listen to This Teaching
8. Following Jesus Today

Bible Verse: “Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there my servant will also be.” John 12:26, WEB
What This Means: Following Jesus is more than just believing in Him – it means making Him both our Savior and our Lord. To make Jesus our Savior means to trust that He has saved us from our sins, but to make Him our Lord means we allow Him to be the ruler of our lives. It means we let Him guide our actions, decisions, and how we live each day. Living for Jesus means following the way He taught us. We follow Him by loving others, forgiving, praying, reading the Bible, and sharing His message. When we live like Jesus, we show His love to the world. Serving Jesus also means trusting Him in every part of our lives. He wants us to help others, be kind, and make choices that honor God. Even when life is hard, Jesus promises to be with us and guide us. When we follow Him, we are never alone – He walks with us every step of the way. Creative Activity: Create a “Daily Walk with Jesus” checklist with simple actions like praying, reading the Bible, showing kindness, or helping others. Decorate it and use it as a reminder to follow Jesus each day.Listen to This Teaching
Conclusion: Jesus is the Way

Bible Verse: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him.” Revelation 3:20, WEB
What This Means: Jesus is knocking on the door of your heart, inviting you into a relationship with Him. He loves you and wants you to know Him personally. He is ready to forgive your sins, give you a fresh start, and fill your life with peace, joy, and purpose. All you need to do is open the door and say yes to Him. When you believe in Jesus, you are choosing to follow Him as your Lord and Savior. He is the only way to God, and through Him, you can receive the gift of eternal life. If you have never invited Jesus into your life, now is the perfect time. He is waiting for you with open arms. Praying to surrender your life to Jesus is the first step in beginning a new life with Him. However, just praying a prayer is not the sign that you are a child of God. It is about genuinely opening your heart to Him, believing in His love and sacrifice for you, and deciding to follow Him with sincerity. This is the start of a lifelong commitment to trust Him, grow in His Word, and live out His teachings every day. When you surrender your life to Jesus as your Savior and Lord, your life needs to be fully transformed. This means allowing Him to change your heart and actions so that you can live the way He taught. It’s not just about believing in Jesus but living for Him, making choices that reflect His love and teachings. Following Jesus is a process of becoming more like Him each day, and that transformation happens as you spend time with Him in prayer, study His Word, and walk in obedience to His will. Creative Activity: Write a short prayer asking Jesus to come into your life and help you follow Him every day. If you are ready, you can pray something like this: “Dear Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I know I have sinned, and I need Your forgiveness. Thank You for dying on the cross for me and rising from the dead to take my sins away. I open my heart to You today. Please come into my life, be my Lord and Savior, and help me follow You always. Amen.” If you prayed this prayer from your heart, it is the beginning of your journey with Jesus. You are now invited into a lifelong relationship with God and become a child of God. Keep growing in your faith by reading the Bible, praying, and connecting with other believers who will encourage you in following Jesus every day.Listen to This Teaching

ABOUT OUR MINISTRY
We are a non-denominational Bible-believing Christian Ministry trained and equipped at the Christian Leaders Institute and Axx Bible College. Even though our Ministry is based on God's Word, the Bible, you need to approach our teachings like the Bereans and always study the Bible yourself to see if what we teach is aligned with what is written in the Bible.
Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. Acts 17:11 NIV
We are only humans who 'stumble in many ways' (James 3:2) and we only 'know in part and we prophesy in part' (1 Corinthians 13:9).
