About The Name of The Ministry

The name Wisdom From Heaven was not just a random choice; it was a divine gift from the Holy Spirit. Rooted in the Bible verse James 3:17, which says, ‘But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere,’ (ESV) this name carries deep significance in my spiritual journey.

For years, I searched for wisdom in all the wrong places, even delving into occult practices, thinking I would find answers to life’s deep questions. But those paths only led to confusion, darkness, and spiritual bondage. It was only when I surrendered to God and sought His wisdom through His Word and Spirit that I began to experience true clarity, peace, and freedom.

Wisdom From Heaven represents a turning point in my life – a testimony of God’s grace, redemption, and the transformative power of heavenly wisdom. That testimony remains at the heart of this growing Christ-centered online library. Through the resources I create and share, I want to point others toward the truth found in Christ Jesus and the wisdom of God’s Word. The library also brings together things I have long treasured: the classics, history, art, nature, and the joy of creating. Alongside biblical teaching and devotionals, you will find resources on forgotten pastimes, creative activities, Kingdom online business, and ministry training. My hope is to build a library that readers of different ages can return to throughout their lives – for study, encouragement, discovery, and inspiration.

About The Author

I’m Janet Giessl, also known under my anointed pen name Janetta Setherah, a disciple and servant of Jesus Christ and a Present-Day Prophetic and Pastoral Scribe with a God-given calling to creatively scribe God’s heart and voice through writing, teaching, creative work, and Spirit-inspired resources. My work flows from a deep love for Jesus Christ, a shepherd’s heart for His people, and a prophetic calling to share truth that brings healing, encouragement, and transformation.

Through Wisdom From Heaven, I am building a Christ-centered online library where this calling takes shape through the resources I create and share.

A Library with a Personal Purpose

I have always wanted a library – a place filled with things worth reading, learning, preserving, and sharing. Through Wisdom From Heaven, I am creating that place online, bringing together my love of Scripture, teaching, writing, and creative discovery.

The library reflects both my faith and the interests I have treasured since childhood. Here, biblical teaching and devotionals sit alongside resources about the classics, history, art, forgotten pastimes, and the wonders of God’s creation. There is also room for developing creative gifts, building an online business, and preparing for ministry.

Living with chronic illness has shaped how I can carry out my work. Much of what I share takes the form of written and creative resources that people can explore in their own time. The library gives this work a home and allows me to build it gradually, with the hope of leaving something meaningful for others.

My Calling as a Scribe

As a scribe, I express my calling through teaching, writing, art, and creative resources – sharing what I am called to teach and preserving what is worth passing on.

Ephesians 4:11–13 expresses my desire to help equip believers for the work of ministry and build up the Body of Christ. The Great Commission in Matthew 28:19–20 also shapes my purpose: to share the Gospel and help others grow as disciples of Jesus.

Matthew 13:52 holds particular meaning for me as a scribe:

“Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a master of a house, who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.” – Matthew 13:52, ESV

This picture of bringing out treasures, both old and new, speaks deeply to the work I want to do. I seek to share the truth of Scripture alongside writings, creative traditions, and discoveries that invite thoughtful learning and reflection. God’s Word remains the foundation by which I approach everything I create and share.

The Faith Behind My Work

Although I was born and raised in a Christian home, my path to a surrendered life in Christ was not straightforward. For years, I searched for answers in New Age teachings and occult practices, but those pursuits brought confusion rather than the wisdom I sought.

My turning point came through an encounter with Jesus Christ in a dream. Through His mercy, I experienced spiritual renewal and became a born-again believer. His grace changed the direction of my life and remains at the heart of everything I do.

I share more about my journey of faith below.

Life Beyond the Library

I’m also a wife, mother, teacher, author, Christian Life Coach, creative entrepreneur, and Online Business Coach. I hold degrees in Education and Christian Leadership, along with credentials in Bible, Ministry, Philosophy, and Theology.

Wisdom From Heaven brings these parts of my life together. It is where I share what I write, teach, create, and treasure – with the prayer that it will help others know Christ more deeply, develop their gifts, and find encouragement for the work God has placed before them.

Personal Faith Journey

My Faith Journey in Childhood/Adolescence

My faith journey is quite a roller coaster ride. I was born and raised as a Catholic since my parents were both Catholics. Until I became an adolescent, I had been practicing the Catholic belief and been active in the Catholic Church. When I was about 13 or 14, I was introduced to the Protestant belief by my best friend and I was totally astonished by the differences between both denominations. While I was still a Catholic, I also went to the Protestant Church from time to time and got active there. Though the Protestant Church accepted me being a Catholic, I knew it was wrong according to the Catholic Church.

My Faith Journey as an Adult

Then a time of withdrawing from both churches followed for many years. I only attended church occasionally and I didn’t read the Bible. I believed in God and in Jesus Christ but I had no relationship with God. I was not walking with God. When I met my husband who was baptized as a Georgian Orthodox, I left both the Catholic and the Protestant Church and agreed to get baptized in the Georgian Orthodox Church so we could marry in an Orthodox Church. Though I was baptized in a Georgian Orthodox Church, I have never been able to identify myself with this denomination. I lived many years as a lukewarm Christian.

My Studies in Rudolf Steiner Education (2003–2007)

During this time of spiritual searching, I pursued studies in Rudolf Steiner Education from 2003 to 2007. At that time, I did not realize that this was a wrong path filled with unbiblical teachings. Now, as a born-again believer in Christ, I completely and fully distance myself from these teachings and the anthroposophical worldview. I acknowledge that Rudolf Steiner’s philosophy is rooted in esoteric and occult influences, which contradict biblical truth. I praise God for opening my eyes to His truth and leading me away from deception.

My Two-Year Experience With New Age/Occultism

Being a lukewarm Christian, however, left me unsatisfied and grew in me a hunger to find the truth. Since I wasn’t saved back then, satan took advantage of my hunger and led me on a path that was dangerous and wrong. For two years starting in 2017, I dabbled in the New Age movement and occult practices like astrology, tarot, yoga, qi gong, shamanism, numerology, chakras, aura, starseeds, earth angels, etc.,

My Salvation

Then Jesus appeared in my dreams and saved me. I became a born-again Christian (not a lukewarm Christian anymore) in 2019. Now when I look back at my time in the New Age and occult, I really feel ashamed because this was the time when I got deceived by satan and was gradually moving away from God. I’m so glad and grateful that Jesus, who appeared one night in a dream and pointed me to the Bible, saved me by His grace and I not only believed but also knew in my mind and heart that He died for our sins on the cross and resurrected to save us from eternal death which is the penalty for our sins. I believe and trust in Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I love the Lord with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind, and all my strength. Mark 12:30

Studying at Christian Leader’s Institute

After my salvation I started to look for Bible Schools online where I could study. Since my financial situation hadn’t allowed me to pay for a Bible School, God led me to the Christian Leader’s Insitute one day. I couldn’t believe that they offered Bible School and Ministry Classes for free and that those who had the money could pay for the studies of other students. I’m so grateful for and impressed by this generosity-driven model of CLI because it allows people who don’t have the financial means to study the Word of God and become Christian Leaders. Praise the Lord and thank Him for having led the founders of CLI to create this amazing generosity-driven ministry. May their ministry and life be blessed forever. I hope and pray to get the financial means to give back because “‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” Acts 20:35 Update: God has provided and I’m an Iron Vision Partner of CLI supporting others to be able to study at CLI. I started to study ministry at Christian Leaders Institute because I wanted to strengthen my faith and knowledge of God’s Word and share the Gospel and I felt called to go where God directed me to. After taking several really eye-opening and life-changing CLI classes, I got interested in taking the Life Coaching Ministry Class and becoming a certified Life Coach Minister (Life Coach Certification in 2020). As a teacher I have come across many people young and old who have been suffering in their life because they haven’t found their God-given calling and purpose yet. Some are deceived because they follow false unbiblical teachings like I used to follow before I got saved. I feel that being a Life Coach Minister equips me fully to help people find the life, calling, and purpose God has given them and to overcome their struggles in life. It is a great complement to my teaching and prophetic gift. I’m continuing my studies at Christian Leaders Institute as a lifelong student.

Online Ministry

After a time of growing in faith, studying the Bible, growing in my relationship with the Lord, growing in my spiritual gifts, God called me to and anointed me for ministry to spread His Word and share the truth with others, so that many people could also be saved as He saved me. God led me to the Apostolic-Prophetic Scribal Ministry of Theresa Harvard Johnson where I received teachings and education about the Scribal Anointing. This helped me to finally find and understand my identity and calling in Christ as a Present-Day Prophetic Scribe (Matthew 13:52). The Holy Spirit inspired me to create two Online Ministries “Wisdom From Heaven” (A Christ-Centered Online Library for Faith, Learning, and Creativity) and “Creative Walk With Christ” (Christian Expressive and Therapeutic Art, which is now integrated into Wisdom From Heaven).

Being Led To Pursue a Bachelor’s Degree

In 2020, I felt led by God to pursue a Bachelor’s degree. I hadn’t thought about studying for another degree in my 40s, as I believed my former degrees were sufficient. However, I had several dreams from God in which He made it clear that my studies were not yet finished and that I needed to obtain another degree – one that would confirm the calling and ministry He had placed on my life, something my former degrees had not done. One of my previous degrees was a Rudolf Steiner education degree, which I later realized was unbiblical. This further affirmed why I needed to study anew. The endorsements I received from my husband and two Christian leaders supported and confirmed God’s leading regarding my studies. I’m truly excited and blessed to be on this journey God has placed me on, and I look forward to where He is leading me! I completed the Bachelor of Christian Leadership Degree on May 21, 2024.

My Ordination Journey

At the end of 2023, I began my ordination path with the Christian Leaders Alliance Minister Ordination, a step that is affirming and confirming the calling I have felt on my life for as long as I can remember. This ordination will open new doors of opportunity to serve the Lord through formal recognition of my ministry work, and it will lay a strong foundation for my broader calling in into Kingdom Ministry.

As a Present-Day Prophetic and Pastoral Scribe, I serve beyond the traditional church structure through online ministry, creative work, and Kingdom business. My ordination affirmed this calling, which I carry out through teaching, writing, art, and the resources I create and share.

My mission is to scribe God’s heart and voice through biblically sound teaching, prophetic insight, and creative expression. Through Wisdom From Heaven, I am building an online library that gives this ministry a lasting home – a place where people can deepen their faith, develop their gifts, and find encouragement for their lives and callings.

My desire to help others find healing and restoration remains part of this work. I seek to offer resources that bring comfort, invite reflection, and support spiritual growth, while making room for the beauty, learning, and creativity that can enrich everyday life. At the heart of it all is my desire to draw people closer to Jesus Christ and help equip them to serve Him with the gifts and opportunities He has given them.

This ordination, including the Minister of the Word Ordination, has not only confirmed my calling but also opened new avenues for connecting with others in ministry. It equips me with the credibility and confidence needed to serve others with greater effectiveness and biblical soundness, ensuring that my Spirit-led work aligns with God’s truth and purpose.

As I continue my studies and pursue further training through CLI and other ministry programs, my greatest joy is in using my gifts to share the Gospel and inspire others in their faith through creative and written content. My ministry is centered on encouraging people to grow closer to Christ through teaching, writing, and the prophetic release of God’s Word.

Further Study

I plan to continue studying at CLI and pursue more training related to my calling and ministry.

In 2024, I began my studies at Axx Bible College, where I felt led to pursue certifications in Pastoral Ministry. Even though my calling is in prophetic scribal ministry, I was drawn to this program to deepen my understanding of pastoral care, pastoral counseling, leadership, and Kingdom Ministry. In 2024 and March 2025, I successfully completed my studies, earning a Certification of Pastoral Ministry, an Advanced Certification of Pastoral Ministry, a Licentiate of Pastoral Leadership, and the Ministry MasterClass. This training has equipped me with valuable skills and insights that not only enrich my understanding of ministry but also strengthen my ability to serve others more effectively. The knowledge and experience I gained form a strong foundation that I now bring into my calling as a prophetic and pastoral scribe, creatively sharing the Gospel and ministering to others.

Mission Statement:

As a Present-Day Prophetic and Pastoral Scribe, my mission is to scribe God’s heart and voice, shepherd hearts through teaching and creative expression, and equip believers for life and service in His Kingdom. Anchored in Ephesians 4:11–13, I seek to nurture spiritual maturity through biblically sound teaching, prophetic insight, and creative resources.

Through Wisdom From Heaven, I am building a Christ-centered online library that brings these expressions of ministry together, preserving treasures from the past alongside resources I create and share today. My ministry exists to glorify Jesus Christ, reveal the heart of the Father, and help prepare His Bride for His return.
