Weekly Creative Devotional
Opening Prayer
Gracious Lord, we come before You seeking wisdom from Your Word. Open our hearts and minds to receive the insights You have for us. May Your guidance lead us in all our ways. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
READING
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
REFLECTION
Consider the depth of trust required to surrender your understanding to God. Reflect on areas of your life where you tend to rely on your own understanding rather than trusting God wholeheartedly. How might acknowledging Him in all your ways bring clarity?
MEMORIZING THE VERSE
Commit the verse to memory. Repeat it throughout the day, allowing its wisdom to guide your decisions and actions.CREATING AND MEDITATING
Choose a creative activity:- Create a visual representation of the verse. This could be a collage or a simple drawing illustrating trust and acknowledgment.
- Write down specific areas of your life where you need to trust God more. Journal about how acknowledging Him in those areas can bring assurance and peace.
TAKING ACTION AND APPLYING
Identify a decision or challenge you are facing. Before leaning on your own understanding, pause and acknowledge God’s guidance. Trust that He will make your path straight. Observe how this practice impacts your decisions.Hymn
Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah
1.
Guide me, O Thou great *Jehovah, [*Redeemer] Pilgrim through this barren land; I am weak, but Thou art mighty, Hold me with Thy pow’rful hand. Bread of heaven, Bread of heaven, Feed me till I want no more; Feed me till I want no more.
2.
Open now the crystal fountain, Whence the healing stream doth flow; Let the fire and cloudy pillar Lead me all my journey through. Strong Deliv’rer, strong Deliv’rer, Be Thou still my Strength and Shield; Be Thou still my Strength and Shield.
3.
Lord, I trust Thy mighty power, Wondrous are Thy works of old; Thou deliver’st Thine from thralldom, Who for naught themselves had sold: Thou didst conquer, Thou didst conquer Sin and Satan and the grave, Sin and Satan and the grave.
4.
When I tread the verge of Jordan, Bid my anxious fears subside; Death of death and hell’s Destruction, Land me safe on Canaan’s side. Songs of praises, songs of praises, I will ever give to Thee; I will ever give to Thee.
Words: William Williams, Music: John Hughes
Closing Prayer
Heavenly Father, we entrust our hearts and understanding to You. Guide us in all our ways, and help us to lean on Your wisdom rather than our own. May our trust in You be steadfast. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

ABOUT OUR MINISTRY
We are a non-denominational Bible-believing Christian Ministry trained and equipped at the Christian Leaders Institute and Axx Bible College. Even though our Ministry is based on God's Word, the Bible, you need to approach our teachings like the Bereans and always study the Bible yourself to see if what we teach is aligned with what is written in the Bible.
Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. Acts 17:11 NIV
We are only humans who 'stumble in many ways' (James 3:2) and we only 'know in part and we prophesy in part' (1 Corinthians 13:9).
