Opening Prayer
Heavenly Father, open our hearts to Your Word today. Teach us through the prophet Ezekiel how to walk in obedience and trust in You. Holy Spirit, guide our steps and renew our hearts so that we may bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
READING
Ezekiel 11:19-20
And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in my statutes and keep my rules and obey them. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
REFLECTION
God speaks through Ezekiel about His desire to transform His people. In this passage, He promises to replace their hardened, unyielding hearts with hearts that are tender and responsive to Him. This is not just an external change but an internal renewal that leads to a life of obedience and closeness with God. Many times, our hearts can become hardened by disappointment, sin, or the struggles of life. But God, in His grace, offers to remove our stony hearts and replace them with hearts that are full of His Spirit. This transformation enables us to love, trust, and follow Him more fully. Consider:- What areas of your life feel hardened or distant from God?
- How has God already begun the work of softening your heart toward Him?
- What steps can you take to walk more fully in obedience to God’s ways?
MEMORIZING THE VERSE
Memorize Ezekiel 11:19-20 (ESV): And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh. This week, spend time reflecting on God’s promise to renew your heart. Write this verse down and meditate on how God is softening and shaping your heart to align with His will.CREATING AND MEDITATING
Choose a creative activity: Option 1: Heart Transformation Art. Draw or paint two hearts – one made of stone and one made of flesh. As you create, reflect on how God has been working in your life to remove hardness and bring renewal. Option 2: Scripture Meditation Walk. Take a quiet walk in nature while meditating on Ezekiel 11:19-20. As you walk, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas of your life where your heart needs softening and renewal.TAKING ACTION AND APPLYING
This week, ask God to reveal any areas of hardness in your heart. Pray for His transformation, and take a step toward obedience – whether by forgiving someone, seeking reconciliation, or responding to His call with trust.Hymn
Praying for Repentance
1 O that I could repent! With all my idols part; And to thy gracious eye present An humble contrite heart!
2 A heart with grief opprest, For having griev’d my God; A troubled heart that cannot rest Till sprinkled with thy blood!
3 Jesus on me bestow, The penitent desire; With true sincerity of wo My aching breast inspire;
4 With softening pity look, And melt my hardness down; Strike with thy love’s resistless stroke, And break this heart of stone!

Closing Prayer
Father, thank You for Your promise to renew our hearts. Remove any hardness within us and replace it with hearts that are tender and obedient to You. Holy Spirit, guide us in walking in Your ways and growing closer to You each day. We surrender to Your transformation. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

ABOUT OUR MINISTRY
We are a non-denominational Bible-believing Christian Ministry trained and equipped at the Christian Leaders Institute and Axx Bible College. Even though our Ministry is based on God's Word, the Bible, you need to approach our teachings like the Bereans and always study the Bible yourself to see if what we teach is aligned with what is written in the Bible.
Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. Acts 17:11 NIV
We are only humans who 'stumble in many ways' (James 3:2) and we only 'know in part and we prophesy in part' (1 Corinthians 13:9).
