Weekly Creative Devotional

Opening Prayer

Heavenly Father, as we enter into Your presence, we come with hearts filled with gratitude. Teach us the true essence of thanksgiving and guide us to bless Your name with sincerity. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

READING

Psalm 100:4-5

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.

REFLECTION

Reflect on the invitation to enter God’s presence with thanksgiving and praise. Consider the connection between a thankful heart and recognizing the goodness, love, and faithfulness of the Lord. How can a heart of gratitude deepen your relationship with God?

MEMORIZING THE VERSE

Commit Psalm 100:4-5 to memory. Let these verses become a constant reminder to approach God with a heart of thanksgiving, acknowledging His enduring love and faithfulness.

CREATING AND MEDITATING

Choose a creative activity:
  1. Gratitude Journal: Start a gratitude journal. Daily, jot down things you are thankful for, acknowledging God’s goodness in both big and small blessings.
  2. Thanksgiving Artwork: Create an artwork that visually represents the themes of thanksgiving, goodness, and steadfast love found in the verse.

TAKING ACTION AND APPLYING

Consider practical steps to cultivate a heart of thanksgiving:
  1. Express Gratitude: Purposefully express gratitude to God in your prayers. Take time to list specific reasons you are thankful.
  2. Acts of Kindness: Extend thanksgiving beyond words through acts of kindness. Bless someone else and share the goodness you have received.
  3. Share Your Testimony: Share your testimony of God’s faithfulness with someone. Encourage others by recounting how His love has endured in your life.

ABOUT OUR MINISTRY

We are a non-denominational Bible-believing Christian Ministry trained and equipped at the Christian Leaders Institute and Axx Bible College. Even though our Ministry is based on God's Word, the Bible, you need to approach our teachings like the Bereans and always study the Bible yourself to see if what we teach is aligned with what is written in the Bible.

Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. Acts 17:11 NIV

We are only humans who 'stumble in many ways' (James 3:2) and we only 'know in part and we prophesy in part' (1 Corinthians 13:9).
