Day 31: A Perfect Sacrifice
Opening Prayer

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge with gratitude that through the precious blood of Jesus we have redemption and forgiveness of sins. He was the perfect, once-for-all sacrifice to atone for all humanity’s sins. As we come before You now, open our eyes by Your Spirit to behold afresh the glory and wonder of Christ’s sacrifice on our behalf. Help us comprehend more deeply the immense love that drove Him to the cross. Draw our hearts to appreciatively remember and proclaim His finished work. May this time spent reflecting on Your Son renew our devotion and praise. We ask through His worthy name, Amen.
Scripture Reading and Reflection

Hebrews 9:11-14 KJV
But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Reflection:
For generations, the people of Israel offered sacrifices of animals to atone for sin. But as Hebrews teaches, “it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.” These sacrifices could never fully forgive sins – they were merely temporary foreshadows of the perfect, once-for-all offering to come. When Jesus Christ came, He fulfilled all the previous rituals pointed to. As Isaiah (Isaiah 53:4) prophesied, “Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows…the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.” On the cross, Jesus became “the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.” (John 1:29) His was the unblemished, spotless sacrifice that perfectly satisfied God’s just wrath against sin. Through His sinless life and willing death, Jesus secured “an eternal redemption” (Heb. 9:12). His precious blood does what no other offering could – it “ransomed us from the futile ways inherited from our forefathers” (1 Pet. 1:18-19). By His one sacrifice “he has put away sin by the sacrifice of himself” forever (Heb. 9:26). Truly, Jesus is the perfect Lamb, the complete atoning sacrifice. Through faith in Him, we “shall be saved by His life” (Rom. 5:10). Praise God for His gracious provision of salvation through the ultimate act of love on Calvary’s cross.Hymn:
Behold the Lamb of God, the Sacrifice for Sin
1 Behold the Lamb of God, The sacrifice for sin! The fountain of his precious blood Can make the vilest clean.
Refrain: We would follow, follow the Lamb, Whithersoever he goeth; Now our load of guilt remove, O thou LAMB OF GOD!
2 Behold the Lamb of God! The Lamb for sinners slain. For thee, my soul, for thee he bled, And died, and rose again. [Refrain]
3 Behold the Lamb of God! The gift of matchless love! Seek full redemption through his blood, And share his joy above. [Refrain]

ABOUT OUR MINISTRY
We are a non-denominational Bible-believing Christian Ministry trained and equipped at the Christian Leaders Institute and Axx Bible College. Even though our Ministry is based on God's Word, the Bible, you need to approach our teachings like the Bereans and always study the Bible yourself to see if what we teach is aligned with what is written in the Bible.
Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. Acts 17:11 NIV
We are only humans who 'stumble in many ways' (James 3:2) and we only 'know in part and we prophesy in part' (1 Corinthians 13:9).
